RAW Form is an editorial photography brand working out of the studio. Moody, stripped back imagery with intention behind every frame.

Every shoot is a collaboration between the photographer and the person in front of the lens. Skin, light, shadow, and a story. Images that feel like something, not just a pretty picture.

The room was never the hard part.

Most people who hesitate over a shoot are not worried about the room. They are worried about the first ten minutes after they walk in. Hands, chin, where to look.

Every good photograph you have ever been in, somebody was directing you. That is the part the room cannot do on its own.

Photos in the studio are by RAW Form.

RAW Form is the only photographer working in the studio. Bringing your own photographer is no longer offered, so a shoot here is a RAW Form shoot.

What does a RAW Form shoot cost?

It is quoted against the shoot rather than listed as one figure. A set of headshots and a full brand campaign are not the same day, so a single published price would be wrong for one of them. Tell us what you are making and we will come back with one plan covering the shoot and the room.

Can I bring my own photographer to the studio?

No. RAW Form is the studio's exclusive photographer, so photos taken in the studio are taken by RAW Form.

How do I book a shoot?

Email hello@birdcagegroup.com with what the shoot is for, roughly when, and who will be in it. The studio is no longer booked online.

What kind of work does RAW Form shoot?

Editorial portraits and fashion driven concepts, along with product, brand, formal and occasion work. Moody and stripped back rather than bright and posed, though the room does both.

Where does the shoot happen?

In the studio at Unit 8, 15 Carl Street, Rural View. Every photograph on this page was taken in that room, not on location.
